What follows are the photos I took of the Acrux sailboat, in the
Proffesional Marine Construction Port Orchard (Washington state)
boatyard on December 31, 2003. The work on rebuilding the boat is
about 1/4 done; at this point it is pretty well stripped down and
nearly ready to begin building it back up again.

Richie is looking out the port window in the main cabin--literally!!
Note the missing hatch! It is ready to be replaced with a new one.
4.
Hatch in the port alama (outrigger). Completely stripped out and
ready to be rebuilt. The wood on the inside walls was removed because
of some rot, and it is ready to be replaced.

The fiberglass from under the waterline was fine--so it was
not stripped off.
