Introduction
Sithylemenkat Lake was first identified as an impact crater by P. Jan Cannon in 19xx from air photos of the area. Continuing that tradition (!) I made a geological map of the area, based on air photos (USGS 1978). This map should not be considered an exact map based on geological units, but it is sufficient to give you an idea of what the area is like. Some interpretation was done using the limited field work that has been done in the area, but the majority of it is an interpretation of the air photos.
Other geological maps of the area have been done.
