I finished the spring semester in pretty good form. My grades were pretty good; the only subject I didn't get an 'A' in was Organic Chemistry (which I got a 'B' in).

During May we had the ISECCo Workfest. We made good progress, though maybe not as much as we'd hoped.

The rest of the summer was pretty confusing. I was busy working ALL the time, but never seemed to get anything done.

In the fall I hired a replacement for Chris, who left. Unfortunately he quit (although he had promised to work through May) due to domestic troubles. This caused major troubles for TANSTAAFL Inc, and as a result I had to do a fair amount of work, which seriously cut into my school work. Thus my fall semester grades were not as good as I'd hoped, though I still had nothing worse than a 'B'. But it was a real struggle, and TANSTAAFL suffered along with my grades.

By Christmas things were going better, for I had a new employee and he was coming along quite well.
